India-Specific Guidelines

  • â€ĸ Td (Tetanus-diphtheria) vaccine is provided free under the Universal Immunization Programme (UIP).
  • â€ĸ Two doses: first at 12–16 weeks, second 4 weeks later.
  • â€ĸ COVID-19 vaccine is recommended for all pregnant women.
  • â€ĸ Influenza vaccine is optional (not in UIP).
  • â€ĸ Tdap (whooping cough) is not currently recommended in India.
